Wargames horses tend to be a bit on the small side. Anyone who has been near big horses can attest to just how big they are.
More to the point in a way, the horses are Ebob's lovely 28mm sculpts and the riders have his 28mm human skeletons inside them, so they ought to match up.

Could be a variety of reasons for the perceived perspective questions:

Horses are E-BOB with tack added for the period
Sculpts of riders are from Clibanarium.

Photo angles may exaggerate sizes. I must say size differential was not a huge issue with the masters when the passed through my fingers. Often horses are actually made far too small in other ranges. Foundry have been particularly cuilty of this over the years.

Great looking figures especially the commander and staff set.

But, looking at the staff set pic in the above link, does anyone else think that horse is huge compared to the guy handing up the message?

cheers
Having recently done a good Samaritan thing, releasing a horse that had got his leg entangled in a rope fence, I can certainly say that yes they are that bl*dy huge :)

I have thought the same looking at the cavalry models, they are very big horses and of a different "cut" to the riders.

On the other hand, the assault party is very interesting and useful; I have put them in my list.

Cheers,

Juan
