Doesn't look they have any right now... They used to be on the same page as the Nagae-Yari...

I'm hoping to get some plastic pikes (~1,000-1,500) which I have used on my figs so far.

Will probably keep about 500 and although I shouldn't "sell" them, I would be happy to trade -I'll let you know when I get them in my hands... :)

They have a prominent butt spike which needs cut off, but look good and much less painful, and more forgiving, than wire!

They do very well as they are quite slim, slimmer in fact that than the shafts of most white metal pikes & spears. These include the half pikes & pole arms form the Warfare command packs.

Apart form the first lot, which used VVV brass 60mm "lances" all my admittedly rather small number of pikemen use them.

In the states you can go to Ace Hardware and get thin brass rods that you cut to size and dremmel a tip onto. But all of the flag poles on my Palatinate troops are Northstar pikes cut to length. So yes they do fit, and as was pointed out pointy sharp. (ouch)

Gents,

Would the NorthStar pikes fit the hands of Warefare Miniatures?

Cheers
Edward

Indeed they are & have the benefit of being as easy to trim to length as white metal though the points do need a small amount of rounding off

Edward,

I have for years, turned my own pikes out of piano wire and used a dremel to get the head. Now I am using the aNorthstar pikes. I have been meaning to get a stock from Nick for a long time but have not yet done so. It is on the to do list. His are made from small welding rods.

I just use wire ones, mostly Northstar but the perry ones with cast heads are very nice & less sharp. The ones Dixon do are I think the if you don't like wire ones, the detail of the head is particularly good.
