Not strictly on topic but I was trying to be good & not buy any more figures but when I saw these in [b]Spirit Games [/b]the last week I knew my resolve would not last much beyond my next visit, it wouldn't have lasted that long to be honest if I had had the cash burning through my wallet at the time & now I know about the painting competition its a certainty that it wont.

That is a very nice comment Phil and on behalf of Clibinarium (the Creator!) and myself, let me thank you. The response we have had so far has been extremely encouraging.

Saw these in the flesh on Barry's table at Partizan today, painted and unpainted and must say that they are the most elegant looking figures I have seen, they really speak 17th century. If I ever have the time to collect for this period these would most definately be the figures for me.

Hope they do well enough to enable further expansion of the range, they certainly deserve to.

Very well Barry. I'm painting up my first unit as Kirke's Lambs. It was funny that a thread started on their flags at the same time, mine won't be getting the ones from the Hall plate in Mike McNally's Aughrim book.

[b]WARFARE MINIATURES[/b] will be available at UK Wargames shows from September 3rd 2011. They can be purchased in blisters from Dave Thomas with Newcastlebeing the first event. Dave is also doing Partizan (Newark), Colours (Reading), Worlds (Derby), SKELP (Forfar), Crisis (Antwerp).

I hope to have a North American distribution agreement settled within the short term.

UK Distribution to retail will be through North Star.
