Edward, a real dilemma for me. I cannot pass ther legacy on I think. Looks like some of the Vets will simply be retired from service only to make an occassional appearance at big weekend games.

Hello Barry

I like the look of the regiment with the three flags and slightly disordered look brought on by combat. 8)

One question though,

Now that you are replacing some of your old regiments with the new miniatures will the new regiments inherit the old units battle records and status (Guard, drill, etc). :?:

cheers
Edward

Thanks Ray, I liked them too! :D I now plan to finish some other tabletop units on hexes. An advancing/charging unit in a V shape led by their officers with standards seems an obvious choice... happy if someone else gets there before me!

The Danish Guards were done by Chris Meacham. Chris not a frequent Forum visitor and I could find out the actual shade but on examination I suspect it is perhaps something like:

Vallejo Desert yellow highlighted perhaps with P3 Menoth White base colour or similar. I asked Chris specifically for STRAW yellow and not actual Yellow. Also, Dark Red and not RED for facing. I think the look is very pleasing

The Irish guards look fantastic, I don't think you've overdone them with three flags, its a great looking unit. I liked the Danish guard too, what colour did you use on their coats?

>>On the postage rates... Hmm I am confused<<

I just retrieved the invoice from the earlier order. I apparently misread the P&P at the time and today recalled it as having been 33% less than it actually was, sorry

One should be most circumspect about making posts before sunrise

>>US Distribution has moved cautiously to the next step.<<

Very good, am anxious to support Warfare Minis (and my own passion for 1685-1714) in a big way.

In the meantime, I will return shortly to place an order. It being late-morning here now I am able view the 25% P&P with somewhat more sangfroid than at 5:00 AM

US Distribution has moved cautiously to the next step. Hoping to be able to annouce in November who and when. I think they will want to stock pretty much immeidately.
On the postage rates... Hmm I am confused  We have not altered postage rates in any way since the range hit the market. Did you perhaps press a wrong rate or duplicate the postential order?

Have you made any progress in seeking out a US distributor? Not really a miser but it seems the Shop airmail rates (International Air Mail) have risen substantially (doubled) since my order last month  ?

Just scrolled through your gallery link, inspirational is the word, thanks.

I confess I wasn't sure I'd like the advancing with plug bayonet pose, but those images of them have banished that concern completely.

Cheers,

Michael

More great units there.

Getting the urge to start planning to paint another one myself now.

I see you gave the Irish pike unit commander red hair; Scourge of the Danes!

Finally uploaded a wadge of stuff tonight including the unit which has been dancing around in my head for about 2 months. I see many more of this type joining the collection.
