Cavalry vs. Infantry

We had a situation in a game last week, I wanted to ask about. The situatn was this. The Russian player had two Btln.s side by side in line. One of their flanks hinged on a small hill. The French player had a unit of Hussars to their front. The hussars charged the infantry. Both infantry units got o...

Re: US Army WWII Recce Jeeps

THX guys! Those clean spots on the windshields (have to put it this way after all they are American Jeeps  ) are quite easy to do with an airbrush. You just cut masking tape to shape and put them over the plexyglass before airbrushing and remove them once the paint is dry. Presto. Cheers, Burkh...

Looking real nice. BTW... I think it might be a conversion... the Pelisse looks like it might have come from the Plastic French Hussars, but I might be mistaken.

THX guys! Regarding plastic Cuirassiers... I do not think that this will happen too soon. The Perrys seem to lean towards earlier (1813) minis now, but I still doubt that they would do those. For one their current anouncements do not include them and there would be much more logical choices when it ...

THX for the comparison shots Peter.

I will need to buy minis for a Btln. or two anyway. So I think I will just buy those and see if they mix well or not. If not I can still put them into a different Brig..

THX guys! Even though painting the tartan patterns on the kneeling minis was a real pain in the backside, I really enjoyed this unit. Maybe due to me irrational emotional attachment to this unit. The Gordons and 79th will follow in due time... I am just happy, that I used all the kneeling poses (fro...

You think so? From what I have heard their Bavarians are supposed to be close. But I have to admit I have not seen these in flesh. I only have a mounted Bavarian General from FR so far. Do you have any that you can show side by side?
