40mm stuff, not decided on what, so painting various samples. ACW or AWI or Napoleonics or War of 1812 or maybe creating my own. I always fancied doing NWF/Colonial in 40mm, but I also like having some kind of positive bank balance too!

Napoleonic Spanish Hussars

I've started painting some Eagle Figures Spanish Hussars for my 1808 based Spanish Army. First base completed. Also working on one of the Reding Regiments for Bailen (also Eagle Figures).

Spanish Napoleonics

I'm working on the OOB for the Medina de Rio Seco 1808. So far I have 1 Battalion of Zaragossa, 1 of Cavadonga, 1 of Tercio de Leon and I'm working on 1st Battalion Hibernia. I think they are more or less based on the same dollies as the Crusader French Napoleonics. My missus bought me 2 battalions for Christmas, but I haven't painted them yet. Nice figures though. Slightly shorter than Perry, so probably wouldn't mix, but great as a unit themselves.
