According to the book"Hell Riders" and "Flashman" the war started because of monks fighting over a key in Jerusalem. Who'd of thought a war could start in the Holy land?
Whatever next...?
They'll be telling me that you can get gravy on your chips in Ipswich next.! :D

Well thats a low blow! You sir , have crossed the line. Its Haloween and the Pendle witches will be aboard tonight. Dear Mr Lenin, Lancashire tea is , looking at the box, very similar in design to Yorkshire tea! The pictures of ex-miners coughing up blood on cobbles, rented whippets and cotton weavers grunning with one arm and ricketts; are sadly missing. However no longer must this Beautifully slag heaped county h...

Wargames factory WSS infantry

I've just seen the new WSS infantry from Wargames factory. I thought that plastic figures for this perod would be ideal,as the amount of troops to field a large army would be a lot cheaper. I feel slightly disapointed as they dont seem as good as most metal figures i've seen. The painted figures i s...

mutineer and foundry

Could anyone tell me if Mutineer minatures and foundry minatures are compatable, the price is about the same, and i'm contemplating buying Foundry Indians and Mutineer British. A slight difference in size is okay as they'll not be in the same units. :? I'm about to dive head first in to the era after...
