Re: Austrians for R2E

The only trouble was that there was so much Russian/Prussian cavalry about that they couldn't move to use most of their points but it meant they never had to borrow points from another move to form emergency squares. Cheers Dave I did and then promptly surrendered after routing the next turn. :shoc...

Highlights of the weekend for me Kieran's face when falling victim of one Mr O'Briens dastardly events Gerry You should have seen the look on your face at a tough time in the battle when I told you the bridge had collapsed leaving your reinforcements stranded on the wrong side of the river  Th...

Had a great time. Really interesting scenario. Well done to Adrian and the Russian players, commiseration to my Gallant French and Italian Brigade Commanders.Banter was outstanding. Loads of inventive use of exploitation moves, very fluid all over the battlefield, excellent terrain and scenery. Stoi...

Looking forward to this, although I have used up my store of brownie points for the forseeable future though  Apparently arriving at 8pm Friday, and leaving about 7.30am Saturday to get back Sunday night and then leave at 6am Monday is frowned upon :o Although the following weekend when she ...

Re: 1 DAYER WHITBURN 3rd July 2011 - ANY TAKERS?

I just can't believe what I am reading, the borsch eaters are not just being economical with the truth, they are completely rewriting history. As commander of more novices than would be seen at the opening of a new nunnery, about 1\2 the number of troops and only 3 units on the table at the start o...
