Re: Blueprint for my Russian division

Gunfreak,

The most usual Cavalry was the Hussars, who were attached as some kind of brigade mostly because of the huge size of them. Most of those hussar regiments had 6 to 8 squadrons each. Dragons and the others were grouped in Cavalry Divisions.

Hope that helps

Dave, happy to be of service :D But after rescent posts from your side on behalf of a not named English Gentleman I like to show to the others here the Dark Side of the "O'Briens" " Black Murrough the Burner O'Brien: the first Earl of Inchiquin, who changed sides four times and his religio...

Re: CAN NOW BE PRE ORDERED

Barry, I know that I as an Austrian I should have taken up the gauntlet earlier. Well throughn into the faces of these english egomaniacs while Austrias greatest General was stepped over by all those "St.John"-Lovers. I did never defended Austrian Leaders and I never will. But Eugene was and still i...

Re: The thorny subject of GUARDS

Hi, I am in no way an expert on the classification of troops but I support Barry's few how and who should be counted as guards by morale and who only hold the title guard. I my view, a very narrow one of course, concentrating on the Saxon part there were 4 "guard" Batallions, 2 Saxon and 2 Polish, t...

Re: GNW or the Anti-Swedish Alliance

Hello Rohan, Thanks for the hint  I will give it a try. Besides I have found a suitable OOB for my Saxons in the Digital Archive Marburg: http://www.digam.net/image.php?file=dokumente/3101/1.jpg&b=850 So after BLB2 I would get 17 Batallions and 32(64 real) Squadrons. All together 510 Figures o...

Re: ACW Rules playtest groups wanted

Barry, I know its a bit late to ask  I' m not quite a group either but I would be interested in these ACW Rules too. Ol' Granny is a longtime area of interest for me. Played after Johnny Reb-Rules for many Years I would love to see a comeback and this seems to be the best way for it. The words...

Re: Paper Flags (UK)

I've tried to buy GMB flags several times in the past. And time its been a classic case of poor service/response. I don't bother now, just get all my flags from Flagdude. Always a quick response and good quality stuff, regardless of the time difference. Bill Hi Bill, In defence of Grahame I have to...

Re: GNW or the Anti-Swedish Alliance

Heneborn,

Thanks for your advise, I look into it.

Are the 500 Figures realy so much?
10-15 Batallions Infantry and about 30 - 40 Squadrons.

Does'nt sound so hard

Cheers

Gentlemen, as pointed out by a certain Individual  I herewith give you the latest update about what's going on. Currently 3 of 5 Footartillery men and 2 mounted Officers have been sculpted. The scheduled time frame has been lenghtend a bit because of the human nature of the sculptor :) . Mould...
