When did the Polish discard their axes?

Hi All,

Just a quick question, does anyone know when the Polish musket infantry discarded their axes?

Re: van Graben

Hi Chris,

I have a thread on the site - Anglo-Dutch Army late 1690's - and this has the Van Graben regiment painted.

My painter went for a stone-grey colour with blue cuffs, etc, which I took from some of the shots in the gallery on this site.

Anglo-Dutch Army Late 1690's

Hi All, After 18 months of researching regiments, uniforms, standards; sourcing figures and hard painting (by my painter Steve - not me I don't have the patience or talent!) the army is finally ready! Firstly I would like to thank the many people on this site that helped me in researching this proje...

Re: 'Adrians Walls' - Now available built and painted...!!!

The fortress looks amazing, but I use 15mm :-( I suppose I could raise the floor by the battlements and then the walls could be those of the great fortresses of the low countries or Ingolstadt! Is that the Van Graben regiment marching out of the gate? Do you have any other pictures of them they look...

schlangenberg regiment

Hi Guys,

I've seen the schlangenberg regiment represented as white with red cuffs or grey with blue, do you know what the weight of opinion supports for the right uniform colour during the NYW?

Many Thanks,

Re: uniforms of the van garbenand nassau ottweilar regiments

Is there another picture of them?

Preferable from the front, so you can see the uniform detail?

Is the regiment in the bottom right hand corner Van Garben?
