Thanks Arthur - I am partially color-blind ( I can basically see the standard crayon colors, but shades of brown/green are almost impossible for me), that combined with trying to figure out what color the fields were from pictures with no description has been my downfall. I will correct the colors.....

Thanks! I tried to hide the musicians - I need to add the lace on them - I believe they had swallow's nest and wide bands? Are they supposed to be in red coats? Ray, I have more, but I need to replace the flags - this blog has taught me the error of my sources (which caused me to wing-it a bit) - so...

Thanks, Ray! The musicians added quite a bit of time to the painting process, but I think I worked out a reasonably realistic look for them... I, too, like the 3-rank look, plus I want to differentiate the platoon firing troops by using a 2-rank base... something I think is important and interesting...
