Well I have had a chance to take in what has been said.

If you only give order markers to the percentage of units that you can move, then what is the defend order marker for?

Just seemed a bit strange to have that and a bluff marker.

unless I have missed something

Thanks Churchill That explains the defend markers, could not work out why we had them. Looks as though we might have to get some more though. Looking in the rules section though it does say that you round up when working out how many units you can move. Found it a bit confusing where it says you mus...

Percentage moves and order markers

Ok played our first game on monday and think that we got something wrong so just checking. We rolled for the percentage number of units we could move and then allocated our order markers. Now can we only allocate order markers to the percentage number of units we could move. Basically if I could mov...

Fighting in buildings

As there is nothing in the rules for fighting for built up areas, I just wondered how other people handle it.

How many buildings or sort of ground area does a battalion occupy in a BUA.
How do they fire and do they have any advantages in melee?

Thanks

Brigadiers and Pursuit

Cannot find if this has been asked before. If I have multiple Squadrons in a post melee pursuit test and the Brigadier has been attached to one of them can they all still take a single test and include him even though he is only attached to one Squadron. Or must they take individual squadron tests? ...

Hi Churchill yes all Front rank figures. Bought a very large amount with some friends last year and got a very large discount. The Robert Hall CD has all of the battalions for Hessen Kassel. The grenadier regiment is not a converged regiment but a regiment in its own right. It was made from the Gren...

From the Robert Hall CD The Army of hessen-Kassel under the Landgrave Carl 1670-1730. From Baccus miniatures.

Also yes these are painted using Army painter dip and also their matt varnish.

Gap between units.

In the rules it says that a routing unit will not interpenetrate if there is a gap big enough for an unformed unit to flow through.

What size do people play this gap as being. Or can they point me to the page it is on just in case I am having a bit of an elder moment.

Thanks

Hi all. My group decided to use a standard base for as much of our units as possible. Rank firing units are based as you see on 3 60mm wide x 80mm deep. Platoon are on 3 80mm wide x 60mm deep. Cavalry are on 2 80mm wide x 60mm deep. Artillery are on a base 60mm wide x 80mm deep. This means that the ...

Dragoon Formation dismounted.

Just wondered about how Dragoons would rank up when dismounted. Would they do the same as the foot for their nationality or in more of a looser formation? Also would each dismounted squadron fight as an individual unit or would squadrons combine into a battalion like formation? I was not sure if I s...

Hessen-Kassel Drum colours

Just coming to the end of painting my first unit of Hesse-Kassel infantry and I cannot find the colours of the drums. Now I have the Robert Hall CD 1670-1730 and there is only one picture of a drum. It looks as though it is gold with gold cords and a red and white triangle design around the top and ...
