Cuirassiers.

Just wondered why Cuirassiers have a reduced move. Now I am not from a re-enactment back ground. The nearest I have been on a horse is some gentle rides on an ex girfriends horse (this did envolve some gallops which I found interesting  ) Having looked through the other sets of rules that I h...

If you adjust the movement rate for Foot you would not need to do anything about the firing ranges. They are much to big any way. At best they should only be about as long as a battalion is wide. I am still of the opinion that horse are about right. I suppose movement rates are all about how much ti...

Hi, My reasoning for this was that in one turn cavalry could move then reinforce a charge and then pursue. This would mean a move of 41-46" Meanwhile the infantry move 4" and all other cavalry average 10" By placing it in the next turn makes the moves more realistic. It will also mean that you might...

I think what I was getting at is that unless you are faced with cavalry you may as well start firing at long range. You in the long run will cause more casualties than waiting for your opponent to get close. (yes I now that you could roll rubbish dice but you could roll really good dice)(but not me ...

Hi I think that First fire should still be used, but it should be less effective at long and medium range. This would mean that people would try to get to close range to use it. If you say that 4 is a better than average throw then. Then long range -2 first fire +4 all muskets +1 dice throw 4 total ...

Nice a quick and yet childish reply.

Have you no idea what other people on this forum think of you now?

Fine then you didn't need Bob to do The 17 Squadrons of cavalry anyway then did you. As for your information the full commission wasn't finished and Bob has recently e-mailed me to paint the 17 squadrons of WSS British Cavalry for me, but now I will have to e-mail him back to tell him that due to yo...

Fair play you don't half make me laugh. You have a nerve though I will give you that. I talk to Bob on a weekly if not daily basis. So I know exactly what you have discussed and what he is willing to paint for you. I talked to him about the content of what I was going to say and he had no problem wi...

Marshell Ney. When Bob gave Ray the last units he ask Ray to give him credit for painting them. He did not do so. I have asked Ray to explain how he painted them He then made up some story about the paints he used and the process by which he painted them. THAT was his opportunity to own up. He was a...

Yes they will. Pity it was not Ray who painted them. Infact it is a fellow club member of mine called Bob Lorton. After buying some figures from Bob off Ebay Ray commissioned Bob to do the last 10 regiments for his British army. Now I would not have noticed any of this had it not benn for two thing....

Very Very nice again Ray. Definitely a fan of Front Rank. They paint up really nicely in the hands of a good brushman. Yes they do. Pity it was not Ray who painted them.
