Finally got off me behind and placed an order. FWIW, FYI and in the spirit of constant improvement ... the ordering system insisted on getting carried away with New Zealand in the address so that New Zealand was included twice in different places. Nothing fatal I suspect. See Receipt No: 4370-5161-9...

Re: PARTIZAN & R2E

Just a wee update on our demo game of R2E at Partizan. ... I suggested to some clubs that when the rules hit the streets if they want to run a game day and I /we can make it then it may be possible to have such an event. There was actually a good positive response to this idea. Hmmm. I'll be on a s...

Kiwipeterh - this probably doesn't help you if you're travelling before getting back to NZ, but at the risk of polluting this forum with a blatant plug I should mention that Eureka in Melbourne will be official stockists for RtE when it's released. Thanks for that information Duke of Plaza-Toro. I ...

Good work gentlemen and I look forward to a perusal.

Agreed, very nice work ... though I'm not sure that there are the correct number of zig-zaggy bits edging the sheepskin!

Looking good. Such a tease. Looks like I'll probably be in the UK for the release so maybe I'll able to catch up with one of the authors at a show ... even if it isn't the handsome one!!!! Remember to recite the mantra - less sleep, less food, more work on rules. Eeek. What have I done with my 'vomit inducing' comment?! It just seemed so poetic at the time! When I typed my reply I went on a big rave about there being heroes & cowards, master strokes & missed opportunities aplenty to go around on all sides during all the Napoleonic campaigns. And how i...

While not conversant with the specific Osprey you could always balance the ledger a little by reading one of the Histoire & Collections books by F.G. Hourtoulle. I have four from the series mainly for the colour plates (though I know that some of them are a little suspect!). Excellent coffee table t...

Count me in the 'no buckets of dice' camp ... but then I've already voted that way so I guess the countings been done! :D Regarding simulataneous movement - I think that strict simultaneous movement is an ideal that is more trouble than it's worth. Then again a strict 'you go - I go' movement mechan...
