Beneath the Lily Banners managed to make it beneath my house roof in NZ today!

A quick flick tells me that this is a most sumptuous production with surely the prettiest quick reference sheet I've ever seen.

Many thanks and well done.

I too am looking very forward to R2E (I just finished painting my third 36-man French line battalion and ordered the fourth). I'm scribbling ideas for illos already, but there are no concrete plans for organized work yet. I think the R2E manuscript is much farther along than BLB when we started on ...

I've finally fought my way through Paypal  and placed an order. Pretty big of me as I don't even game the period ... but I'm still interested in seeing the rules!

Now about those Napoleonic rules .....

Keep up the good work chaps. 8)

Ah ha! So how much to New Zealand? Or do I need to send an email to Wordtwister Publishing (like the announcement says ). I just figure that if you answer here you wont need to answer the same query over and over and over and over .... And how much for the signature? And how about the ...

I too hit the bandwidth issue. VERY disappointing for the remote viewer! Time to start selling the rules to make war pay for war perhaps. BTW, the picture(s) in the David Imrie pages were distorted when I looked at them at work  using Internet Explorer though they are fine on the iMac a...

Very nice. I particularly like the image on the home page... Agreed, very nice. I'm looking forward to the Napoleonic cover. Perhaps something heroic like Prussian hussars chasing down some of the Corsican Ogres finest! Salute von Peter himself, unbiased in all such matters

Hello Barry Yes, I'd spotted the pictures. Very enticing and even a few Calpe's spotted (I'm a Calpe zealot! ). And yes, I would very much like to meet up with some of the highbrow wargame types one way or another. I Also need to visit several shows, manufacturers, historic sites etc ...

The game/weekend sounds like it was a roaring success. Congratulations to the organisors, the players, the army & terrain suppliers, and the rule writer(s?). And commiserations to those such as myself who did not attend! Please let the forum know which issue of WSS the game will appear in so t...

Oh dear, more gaming expense to sneak past The Spouse!! :D A quick query: can it be sent in a plain brown paper bag so that the neighbours will think it is literature of the, errr, adult variety (and hence perhaps look at me with some form of respect!)? And don't forget that the Napoleonic r...

kiwipeterh, Golly, I've been using PayPal for many years . . . so I'm not sure . . . but I THINK that you are correct. Go to their website to be sure: https://www.paypal.com/ I do know that in all the years I've used it, I've never had any problems with it. It certainly makes online purchases easy ...

Stoopid PayPal virgin query ... I understand that you don't need a PayPal account to use PayPal (by using a credit card over the facility). Is this correct? I shall watch for the Napoleonic rules carefully then. We have similiar problems when attempting big games. And we want the occasional BIG game. I guess I'll need to get a copy of Under the Lily Banners to aid its commercial success so as to increase the chances of getting Republic to Empire! :shock...
