Given the period in question I would be interetsed if the rules you are considering would adapt also to the Indian Mutiny 1856-1857.

Barry , any thoughts. More small scale skirmish than large battles with a lot of fighting within city walls.

So my plans to increase all my napoleonic units to 36 figures are already shot to pieces, unlike my ...

Yep, I agree with Andy et all that the later date in November 2008 would bebetter as it the earlier on always clashes with a business dinner engagement for me.

Twas a good show with lots of variety and some high quality games. Table sizes were small compared with other shows which reflected on the types of games we were all able to put on. I spend more on books than anything else and am extermely grateful to Charles Grant for further tempting me with a Ken...

1) Cossack lancers to kill on 2,3,4,5 or 6 in first round and get the opportunity to re-roll any ones 2) Russian Generals get the opportunity to be in two places at once 3) Opolechnie pikemen are classed as veteran elite that should do for starters and on the serious side 4) reloook at the unsupport...

Bring my Napoleonic units up in strength

I've decided to raise the strength of my current 24 man Napoleonic regiments up to 36 man. This will be some task. Why you may ask. Well in part because I've noticed that they have more chance of standing and fighting (under Barry's rules) if they are larger units than if they are smaller. First up ...

I guess many of those that really want to know what fellow gamers think of their painting standards enter painting competitions. The rest of the gaming community tend to know deep down how good their painting skills really are and so don't tend to offer up their paint jobs for too much comment or cr...

Great show , thoroughly enjoyed the day and having the space to wander about and not being cramped on our table. Congratulations Bob. And the number of attendees didn't really seem to suffer form the big footie match. Many thanks for the compliments about our display. We had a lot of visitors and ra...

Charles, having a reasonable collection myslef of French, Spanish and British as well as Peninsular buildings in 28mm, I would be happy to assist in whatever way needed. By the way , just picked up a copy of your Napoleon in Egypt book along with two of the Armies of Marlborough volumes from Dave Ry...
