Is there any chance that the quick reference sheet could be available as a pdf as well? (I didn't get one with my copy from Salute  )

The Noch grass comes ready glued into clumps all pointing upward (like grass does and unlike my static grass does.) http://i285.photobucket.com/albums/ll48/AdamPaulHayes/Basing/Grass02.jpg The packs are quite sturdy but I am afraid to breathe when I have the lid off! http://i285.photobucket.com/albu...

I only have 2 of the "lobsters" (so maybe not a statistically valid group!) but they are identical, as are all the horses that I have.

The trooper on the left and second from the right are Dixon's. Nice characterful figures.

Another Squadron for League of Augsburg forces...

I have taken a few pictures (you can tell the weather is rubbish today because the new cavalry is a bit darker than the last lot!) http://www.adamhayes.co.uk/WargWarLOA03.htm I have drafted a small battle scenario (6-8 units a side) that will use everything I have done so far plus another infantry r...

Thanks chaps! I enjoyed what research I did to find the right sort of symbols/heraldry might be used in the 17th C. I did have qualms about what history fundamentalists might say though... :) I remain in a quandry about the Reiver figures. I like the style and animation but they just don't match up ...

Irish Militia

I got some painted Reiver figures cheap recently and rebased and with new flags they will do me as anonymous Irish regiments.

Completely invented flags, feasible though?

Big Battalions?

The arrival of the excellent TAG and Eagle Miniatures Spanish figures have got me looking seriously at Napoleonics for the first time in a very long while. The question athat is uppermost in my mind however is what level to play games at. There is a lot of interest around at the moment for the lates...

Similar thoughts to yours Barry, I certainly would not make this show a priority to visit if it were not my "local". I did pick up a copy of BLB, so mission 1 accomplished there. Unfortunately though I "accidentally" read the Eastern Wars pages and had to spend time slathering over various Polish an...

I have a bunch of the Reiver Castings as Irish Jacobites and I think they work very well. A word of warning however, they are noticably larger than the Foundry/Dixon size of 25mm for this period, which is what the bulk of my figures are.
