And as for those Pesky Prussians, did they actually do anything apart from hide in a wood for the whole of the battle? Ch...

Bastille photographs

Hi Barry, I have just had a look at the pics of the weekend game, I just love the broadside shot and what you have done with it. The only downside is that ship sunk just after this. Typical sneaky Allied trick ganging up on a poor Frenchman, why don't you fight man to man?

Urban Mamoth had stalls at both events and I spoke to John just before we left and he thought they did at least three times the businees at Targe than they did at Skelp, if that's any indication of how things went. I must email Frank Hammond and see how he got on at Skelp, this would have been his f...

I have to agree with everyones comments above, Targe was an excellent show, as it has been for the last 19 years under a different name. Colin and myself had a great time putting on our Indian Mutiny game and talking to all the people that seemed so interested in what was going on. We spent more tim...

So if you do Crimean War how much of a leap would it be to do the Franco-Prussian War with the rules you have? Who makes good figures in 25/28mm? I know about the Foundry ones but does anyone else? 18th Century Guy (yes, this is late 19th Century but I've always like the FPW) Mirleton do various Ita...

Ignore my last message regarding Morand's division, I just noticed you put it down as the Vistual regiment.

Hi Barry, just tried again and it opened up this time but after a long wait, the boilers in my steam driven computer were obviously not up to full pressure. You also seem to have mis-spelt balanced in your introduction (The scrivener O'Brien's totally biased account of the French `stunning' victory ...
