ca sapherson mentions the coldstrean guards having fought at the boyne in his book william at war scotland and ireland 1689-1691. as far as i can rember he is the only source i've seen to mention the coldstream guards as having been in ireland. he also has 2 bns first guards and only 2 bns of the gu...

would love to see skane war as i can't think of any company who actualy make figures for that peroid , warfare miniatures could lead the way. would also like to see gnw figures as well.

All sources I have seen say 2 Dannie. The number of companies is the give away... 23 I think. Several Jacobite regiments had 2 battalions in Ireland... The Guards Boiselleau's I think maybe the Grand Prior's and possibly a couple of others. dillions also had two battalion's according to steven's . ...

i was wondering if anybody had an idea of the uniform's of the dutch regiments von garben ann nassau ottweilar which were with william of orange at the battle of the boyne . the only information i have is from sapherson the dutch army of william the 3rd and that is limited to van garben copper botto...
