I think it is totally top stuff and have had the privilege of seeing the actual book from which it came. They don't make books like that anymore. Every page is a masterpiece and it had over 400 of them i seem to remember.

Go on Bob, build it(ha--- Bob the Builder)

Bob Lauder is just too nice a guy to say that it was HIS game at Glasgow that you admired Pappenheim and I agree, it was great!

I think his family are a well known Turkish sect who moved from Ismir to Motherwell.

I should be able to squeeze another one in! Take a couple of days to rustle up the unit profile but watch this space. With a name like Pappenheim you should really be a German but they are a bit thin on the ground in Byelorussia in early July 1944!!!

Cheers

Others may like 'em but personally I would not recommend them. They are very bulky and anatomically out of proportion. They do not fit at all with the Foundry range. With a good paint job they'd look ok but it's a personal taste thing. If you are looking for odds and sods not in the core Crieman Ran...

I am not certain that it is possible to give a definitive date for the withdrawal of pikes. I don't think there was a regulations code which specified their use(I may well be wrong on that point and there are definitely a few users of the Forum who would have more knowledge than I on the point). I t...

Rapid Fire Reloaded!

I don't know if anyone has seen it but I found Richard Marsh's response to my original articles comparing GHQ MicroArmor to Rapid Fire an interesting read.(Wargames Illustrated #212) My initial thoughts were that the article was more a `commercial' for the relaunch of Rapid Fire than anything else. ...
