Help with 1806 Saxon Flags

I know I've asked this question before but I cannot find the notes. Can someone point me to a location that has good color photos/drawings of the 1806 Saxon flags for both infantry and cavalry?

Thanks in advance.

Re: French Light Infantry Companies pre-1800

I believe the duc is correct. There weren't any 'official' light companies during that time period. The legere units would have had slightly different uniforms and headgear as well. Eureka makes a line of revolutionary figures with the right headgear during this period. Take a look at them to get an...

Four Empires rule set??

Barry,

Do you have an update on this set? I know you are very busy but for those of us interested I thought I'd see if we could get an update. Thanks.

Re: Completed 1806 Prussian regiment

Wait until you see the cavalry! 15 squadrons of heavy cav and 10 of light plus Fusiliers, Jagers, and artillery. Should be a good looking division once I've completed it.

Completed 1806 Prussian regiment

I've continued slowly working on my 1806 Prussian project and I've completed another regiment of infantry. This one will be the 1st regiment of the 2nd brigade so I'm on my way to having a full Division of 1806 Prussians as I already have 1 infantry brigade painted. These figures are from the FGMini...

Re: Republic to Empire in pdf

I to just purchased the bundle deal a few minutes ago. I'll assume that we'll get an email with a link to download the file(s). Weird part was the system required me to select a delivery method and download or email wasn't an option? All that was available were the normal methods to mail a package. ...

Re: Skirmishing question

Gunter,

So does that mean if I'm able to build a large enough force of Prussians, Saxons and French you'd prefer the French? :P

That would be a dream (pipe dream maybe) of mine - put on an 1806 game at one of the R2E Weekend events. Not sure how I'd transport all those figures to Scotland?

Re: Skirmishing question

:D When all else fails blame Clarence! Although I prefer the South Park song of blame Canada. I could slightly understand from a scenario perspective if the French lost their skirmish cover when they detached the Voltigeur company but in a more historical perspective my 'feeling' is that they could ...

Re: Skirmishing question

Gunter, Thanks for the reply. I don't remember you and I having that conversation but it could have happened. If it happened on this site then I couldn't find the thread to it. I understand that in general the Fusilier companies of a line battalion didn't normally skirmish but I thought they could a...

Skirmishing question

All, I searched through this section looking at all entries for 'skirmishers' but didn't find any discussion for my question that follows. Does a French (or any other nation that organizes the same way) battalion that has split off its Voltigeur company into a combined elite battalion/unit still hav...

Re: LoA 'WATERLOO WEEKENDER in DERBY OCTOBER 2015' -Now book

What is the best or nearest airport to fly into for Derby? Is there more than one Derby and if so which one are we gaming in? I see a Derby to the west of Nottingham but I want to make sure that's the correct one. Next question is a bit different, when does the Premier League start up? My son watche...
