Hi Greg, welcome to the group. At first glance with a title like Blondie and just saying helllo I initially thought this was another SPAM message which had slipped through the net. I visited your show in Shrewsbury a number of years ago and was very impressed with the dislay you guys had put on, unf...

Modestly prevents me from in any way implying the superior Generalship was the battle winner at Waterloo 8) but I think you may wish to consider this possibility  And here was me thinking it was the superior tactics of Davout and Ney that won the day for the Emperor  As for the magazine...

Captain of Dragoons wrote:Hello David

Were your sqn's 4 figures strong also?
Our sqn's were usually 6 figures strong and I think there were a few that were 8 figures strong. Because both our armies were made up the same we had no problems it might be more awkward if you are both using different systems.

Re: 12 man bns and smaller sqdns - yes, can't see any reason why it would not work. Infantry morale/shooting and fighting will all be fine. Sqdn strength could be reduced and morale modified by using say a D4 for 4 figure sqdns. Barry, as you know Colin and myself have all our units as 12 figures s...

Barry, love the latest pics of the pirate action especially the one of the Chinese junks.

We should have all guessed that when Adrian wasn't up to anything he really WAS up to something. his usual scullduggery but well played by him.

These posts don't annoy me too much as it is obvious what the subject matter is so I don't even bother opening up the message. It's other SPAM messages which look as if they are genuine wargames literature until you open them up which really bug me, especially if my youngest daughter is in the same ...

This is just a note for those guys who haven;t booked accommodation at the Heugh yet. I spoke to Kevin on Saturday and couldn't get a double room for the Saturday night he only had one single room left and I certainly wasn't going to cozy up to Angus on a single bed. Someone just phoned before me an...
