Re: BLB Gallery - Terrain Questions

Barry, You hit the mark on all three spots. I kinda figure an ECW/TYW guy for the Volunteer Leader - I think you had at one time labeled the command stand as Rebel Leader Yes the wanted barrels are the narrow on the bottom/top and wide in the middle - they really take to the period. Yes again on the...

Re: Danish regt Prince George, free flags

Thank you for sharing the Danish flags!

I tried my hand at making my own...very similar results w/exception of the banners on the orange flag...just couldn't make it fancy looking...mine was a bit choppy.

Will be using real soon!!!

Re: Arn, the knight Templar

Saw this movie through Netflicks about three weeks ago. I really enjoy foreign made movies. This one was really a treat with three different languages spoken with subtitles. Definitly a buy!

BLB Gallery - Terrain Questions

Barry, I enjoy the overwhelming "eye-candy" in both rule booklets and this sites gallery. With that being said, I would like to know when I can get a few things; the pear-shape looking water barrels I see often in you game pics, the triangle looking tents in the GNW section and the two mounted figur...

GNW Uniform Site

All, Not sure if this link was shared, but through a few hours of searching for anything GNW, I came accross this Swedish site that appears to be very informative...too bad I can't read Sweden. I did figure out "Ryska" is Russian and "Svednska" is Swedish. Enjoy! http://www.tacitus.nu/karoliner/slag...

Re: Irish Brigade Grenadier headgear?

Guys,
Looks like I'll stay with the French style hats...seeing that I p/u a bunch of Dixon French Grenadiers throwing grenades from a close-out sale from WargamesMinnis...maybe a soft hat here and there...thank you all for your insights!

Irish Brigade Grenadier headgear?

I hope I have a simple question - what headgear did the Irish Brigade (Dillon, Lee, etc.) wore? I currently have three unit's wearing the same floppy hat...my initial logic was they followed the French standards. A year later, redoing my James II army, I'm thinking they were Irish, so why not wear t...

Re: The Road to Perdition

Flick40,
What version did you order? I bought the standing coach. The moving one has the same figures, but all sitting for the ride. Definitly a great buy for this period!

Re: French Triple Barrel Gun

All,
I like the two options from Barry et' all. Can do a die roll before game starts to see what option to use for the game.

Thank you all for your insights!!!

French Triple Barrel Gun

Imperialist Miniatures here in the U.S. is selling a "French triple barrel 4pd gun" in the WSS section. I vaguley remember a post awhile back, but couldn't find it. Don't know anything about this type of gun - can it be used in BLB2? Any special considerations?

Thanks.
