The gentleman i spoke to may have been asked about the Austrian release date many, many times :!: However he was still polite :) Rather good customer servi...

Re: Austrian Tactics

I've been thinking about Austrain tactics, more to find a starting point for collecting and painting, I know enough about organisation and uniform, but tactics :?: I know that sounds very general,as each commander would have a battle plan. I mean more basic planning.eg. sending light troops out to mee...

Re: Victrix Austrians

Hi Rohan,
In my experience the Victrix plastics are a little bigger in build than perrys, but i do use both, however for a closer match Front Rank do the trick. No plastics from Front Rank as yet though.

Re: Officer Breeches

Barry, Decorum may prevent you from asking, however,Reputation demands i answer! Most of my celtic skin colour research is taken from my own mostly light blue body. However ,various "Squaddie tans" (i belive this is the common term for tanned or red forearms) would suggest that The Royal Irish and the...

Re: The Road to Perdition

Dear Mr Dodger, She prefers Talisker, but i prefer Jamiesons. And as I currently buy the booze, its my choice. And before any of you Whiskey Buffs start spouting single malt hersey, and cursing the Irish tipple as bog water; You should know ,it might as well be aviation fuel in our house, and i'd still...

F.O.W. and Wargames illustrated

In an idle moment, i noticed that F.O.W have a lot of input in Wargames Illustrated (for obvious reasons) and even though the scope for WWII armies and battles is rather large,i can see a limit to what people will be willing to collect. Its seems that they have new minatures out every month. Its goo...
