Crann Tara Miniatures now available

Well I am pleased to say that my shinys have arrived from Griffin moulds so the first sets of Highlanders are now available for those that may be interested in acquiring some. Due to the layout of the mould and the separate shileds, weapons etc. then initially I am selling the figures in packs of 6 ...

Re: New Highlanders - First Greens

Managed to get six highlanders painted and finished over the weekend,
the pictures are too big to upload here so if you want a peek check them out on the blog http://scotiaalbion.blogspot.co.uk/
hope you like them.
All the figures come open handed so there's quite a bit of variety to play with.

Well thanks for the kind comments, the metal masters arrived from Griffin today which was a nice birthday present and all I can say is wow! If I can work out how to get photos on here then I aim to paint a few figures up next week and will put the pics on here and on the blog. Size wise again I will...

Re: New Highlanders - First Greens

Great news Richard sent me the completed greens, :D I think I had them in my hands for less than two hours before they were repacked and shipped off to Stewart at Griffin moulds for the master mould to be made. Not certain how long thats going to take. I've also decided that I will sell them under C...

New Highlanders - First Greens

Hi, for those that may be interested I'm in the middle of commissioning a small range of figures for the Jacobite Highland rebellions. Sculpted by Richard Ansell my first 6 figures are under away and the greens can be viewed on my Scotia Albion blog spot. This is a private venture mainly for my imag...

Re: BLB 2 QRS

Barry, good to be back after a couple of years in the wargames wilderness! I have racked my brain and it was either Caliver or DT but I suspect Caliver as I regularly popped in on my then weekly trips to Bristol. In terms of armies I'm going back to the start, my Boyne armies are all sold so I thoug...

It has been way to long since I was on the site. I have now retired and incvested in BLB 2 and found the same issue, only 1 paly sheet that of the morale. Barry would be happy with a pdf version but anything would be useful.

Well after much searching the area I have found two suitable locations and one possible. All in the Middlesbrough/Redcar area, prices for accommodation range between £45 and £65 per night for B&B although I'm certain once I know numbers etc I will be able to negotiate. So the pointers I need now is ...

Thanks for the update. I've pasted the entry relating to 18th century in Europe, I don't feel I can go beyond that and would commend you all to at least get the index and some of the CD's from Duncan. I've got all the mags but the CD's are great for reviewing and finding stuff, but of course the ind...

Hi, in response to Rob and others as stated earlier Duncan has the rights to publish the index, he bought my remianing stock of cd's. Can I suggest if a few of you contact him then he may have some remaining stock or it may encourage him to update the index with pretty pics etc. and publish. I am wo...

Mark Allen articles.

A little known fact I did publish a cd with all the articles to Duncans mag both by period and author. I sold the rights to the index to Duncan last year, however as you intend to buy some CD's I can't see Duncan objecting to me giving you an extract below. The War of the Grand Alliance Pt.1 No.27 P...
