Ray,
Thanks for sharing. I hope to get to Historicon this summer...cross fingers. I haven't been to a con in many years.

Re: Open Order vs. Close Order

Clarence,
Just a little overwhelmed by the excellent eye candy, I only saw the two orders briefly mentioned and didn't want to miss something.

Thank you.

Open Order vs. Close Order

Gents,
Is there any restrictions or limitations as to what factions can use or not use either movement order?

Thank you.

Re: Base Sizes

I use 1" fender washers with the smallest opening in the middle as possible for my individual based figures. I like the washers as I place down magnetic striping in my storage boxes - help secure them down when transporting. I buy them in bulk at my local Ace Hardware store for about $6.00 for a 100...

Re: King Phillip's War (Figure Question)

I found the perfect figures for Pilgrims, look at Brigade Games in The U.S. they have Pilgrims: http://brigadegames.3dcartstores.com/search.asp?keyword=pilgrim&search.x=0&search.y=0&search=GO I have all three sets, and they fit perfectly. I plan on a King Phillip War faction as well. They also have ...

Gunter,
Thanks for the link. I went and saved it as a "watch later", so I can watch it through my smart T.V. later.

Re: Donnybrook scenarios

I really enjoyed the scenario, "Bridge at Tufik", played that a few times an favorite with our group. Plus it was chance to show off my Artizen Designs Moors and the like.

Re: Hesse-Kassel Regiments for my Blenheim 1704 Project

Ray,
What technique do you use to get that textured look on you bases? I'm trying to convert to a more textured base as opposed to a flocking and brush base.

Thank you.

Re: How to make a French Foreign Legion fort

Gunter, Well that them there British folks are very imaginative...that pic was from a Mahdist game my buddy Arofan was running...I think on a certain roll the gun actually rolled off...it was a crazy but fun game. Not in the picture, but I ran the steam boat with a similar gun piece just blowing up ...

Re: How to make a French Foreign Legion fort

Wow! What a lovely project. I definitely like the rock pressing in the tin technique...genius! Your fort almost has that old Airfix Fort Sahara look to it, but on steroids. I didn't build a fort but a small compound for using a similar technique. I cheated and use the "Stone Textured" paint for the ...
