Did grenadiers in the French and Swiss guard of the early 18th cent, ie during WSS have grenadier style headgear?

If so, does anyone know what kind?

can I get away with painting up wargames foundry gnw russian dragoons in the karpus/polkam (sp?) hat as Swedish gnw cavalry and mixing in with other foundry stuff?
