Re: WI #314 Donnybrook Scenario Question

Gunter,
I think you may be right. I had to about double the blocks for the terrain to work. The dotted lines in the picture from the magazine appear to be added in though.

WI #314 Donnybrook Scenario Question

Barry, In the article promoting Donnybrook, you outline the scenario, "The Resurrection of Darius O'Brien", gives a picture of the map for the game, how big are the blocks in the map? I tried the one foot rule for each block, and it comes to 3' x 3' playing surface. When I did a demo set-up, that se...

Re: Tangiers question

Ray, I was feeling your frustration several months ago on the Moroccans. If you email me, I found a free pdf called, "North African Dress and Equipment", and send it to you. I've been using Artizen Designs Moors & Berber figures and their Moroccan rifle guys for their firing element. A U.S. based co...

Re: Possible Hussar Models

Oh...25/28mm. Wasn't sure if maybe SYW figures would be too way out period. I'm also pretty handy for mods and little success w/sculpting.

Thanks.

Possible Hussar Models

All,
Looking for a suitable manufacture/figures that I can use for WSS Hussars for the French and Bavarian armies. Any suggestions?

Thanks.

Re: GNW Swedish troopers available to buy

Barry,
I really like the standing horse models, definitely a different pose from all the running horses on the battlefield.

Re: The raising of the Saxon Army 1699-1712

Gunter, Awesome looking dragoons. I like the style of the horse holder and the dead horse. That's one thing we don't have enough of is dead horses...hint hint (Barry). I really hate cutting or modifying good stable horse to get the message across of the shot out horse. I think a few dead horses woul...

Re: Jacobite units??

Gents, I dug up this post from the basement, in hopes to get some clarification or to see what others are doing for their Jacobite army. I'm wrapping up my Jacobite army, and looking for unit strength for James II Lifeguards of horse...in gaming terms, how many stands of troopers? Plus, what troops ...

Re: Lots of Dragoon news

Barry,
Is there anything in the works for command for the French dismounted Dragoons? If not, what would you recommend from your line?

Thanks.

Re: Blue Coated Jacobite Cavalry?

Gents,
I unknowingly followed Barry's color match with a grey-blue mix, and it does look very nice. I already have the Oxford Blues. To be honest I wanted to convert the French cavalry unit, "Dauphin" and to do little effort in painting and conversion.
