Re: Blue Coated Jacobite Cavalry?

Bob,
You're on it!!! I just happened to have that flag too. This site is like the library of Congress, a vast resource of stuff...now I remember that picture.

Thanks again.

Blue Coated Jacobite Cavalry?

Gents,
I know I'm reaching here, but is there any cavalry unit out there from the NYW, preferably the Jacobite Irish, that wore blue coats? I know there are a lot of grey's and reds, but trying to add a different flavor.

Thanks.

David,
I think I remember this scenario when you first post it. Great stuff...any chance I can get your ORBAT for it?

Thanks.

More than two Factions in Play?

Hello Barry,
Just finished reading the WI #314 article, "The resurrection of Darius O'Brien", and saw that you had three factions paying at one time...Awesome!!! How did it work out? Have you or anyone else experimented with more than three factions on the table?

Thanks.

Re: Scanian War 1675-1679 "Snapphane style"

Michael, Your dragoons and cavalry look very nice. You've done a great job mixing up the weapons and the such. May I suggest the next mounted dragoon unit you do, get the infantry drummer arm piece an add it to one of the mounted guys. The great thing about the plastics is I can easily replace the a...

Re: Here we are.. Donnybrook Forum

Barry,
I'll send an email to Bob over at LRS and work it from there. He provides exceptional service for us folks in the U.S.

BTW - I finally have my odd-ball pieces I need to give me a decent Occult faction. Using a Headless Horseman from West Wind Miniatures as the "Hero".

Looking forward to the final product. Should I place a pre-order with you or Le Roi Soleil? Went and got my hands on WI #315, you're article looks very inspiring.

Re: irish supplement

Clarence,
Your breakdown lines up with Ray outlined for unit strength in his listing he put out I think a year or so ago. As far as units at the Boyne, I thought there were more, have to go back to Osprey book for that.

Re: irish supplement

Clarence,
That sounds reasonable for the ratio of musket and pike. Will press forward with a variety of musket pike ratio units for Jacobites.

Our group here in Tucson is ready for any play-testing, please keep us in mind.

Thank you again.
