Thanks for that, I don't have a clue with the Swedish language. My book is in English but it still uses some Swedish words. If kant means edge then maybe the coat is piped down the edge with the facing colour. An interesting thought but as you said it isn't in the Karoliner book and I can't think of...

Heneborn, I see wht you mean about the line around the outside edge of the coat. I think what Hoglund is trying to represent is the inside lining colour rather than a lace edge although it does look misleading. Because of the style of drawing he couldn't show it any other way. Another thought is tha...

Heneborn, I think that this will be the book called "Scanian War 1675-79, Colours and uniforms" by Lars- Eric Hoglund printed by Acedia Press and only contains uniforms for the Swedish Army. It's probably the same one you already have. I bought it last year thinking it would have both sides in but i...

Thanks for the kind comments Giorgio and Churchill. The intention from the beginning was to provide all the armies and troop classifications you would need to re-fight the battles of the period. All the ranges are presented in a way that the army lists can be looked at to show the figures needed to ...

Hi Jan,
Reiver are taller and broader than both Dixons and Foundry figures. They won't mix in the same unit but will be ok as separate units.

The 28mm flags from Reiver Castings for the period are available in 15mm as well. Just contact the lads from Under the Bed and they will help you out. Any of the flags on the list can be reduced upon request and there are new Danish flags available but not yet added to the site.

Yes Heneborn is right, it's the bayonet scabbard above the sword. Black in colour with either a gold or brass end. The retaining strap/belt for the sword and bayonet were natural leather, beige or buff.

From Dan's website; "This site closed. With the proliferation of "experts", it has outlived its usefulness, and I am no longer able to add to it or adequately maintain it." I e-mailed Dan and thanked him from all of us for providing his site over the past years. Dan said that the site is not complet...

Hi,
I've spoken to UTB and as we all said we've had a bank holiday and they were off on Monday.
I think they are in the process of answering you e-mail and order now.

Hi,
I'll speak to Under the Bed in the morning and ask them if they have got your order.
If not I'll post a reply to you and let you know.

As Ray and Jim have mentioned we had a bank holiday on Monday and UTB would not have been in the workshop. They won't let you down and they will answer.

Barry,
Someone has landscaped your block paving!

It looks excellent. It'll be nice to see it in the 'flesh' on Saturday at Claymore.

The new lists are finally on and Ray is working hard on adding the photographs which he assures me will be on the website (www.underbed.co.uk -28mm Reiver Castings section) over the weekend.

Hi everyone I must apologise that the new lists, as promised, aren't up on the Under the Bed site. Apparently there has been a technical hitch and Ray from UTB is working hard to rectify this. With any luck they should be on very soon. The 28mm carts, wagons and field fortifications are now availabl...
