Ray, the horse are Colonel Henry Luttrell's cavalry regiment whereas the dismounted dragoons belong to Colonel Simon Luttrell's regiment. Simon was the older brother of Henry.
There are no mounted dragoons available yet which is why I went with the cavalry first but will certainly be adding mounted dragoons once they go into production. We never got these cavalry into action as the Danes fell back 18" into the town due to a special event as we were lining up the charge. I believe Gerry did quite well on the other flank with the one squadron of cavalry over there, until they got blown away that is. That will teach him not to form up in front of enemy infantry regiments
Cheers
Dave

Err...chaps....
What the irrepressible Mr O'Brien has omitted to add is that when I formed up in front of the infantry regiment, we....sorry....I had rolled a 1 for the number of units that could move that turn....therefore we could move zero units that turn and only a downpour special event prevented the unit being blown to bits.
Having reformed the gallant Jacobite squadron, it decided to charge the next turn and charged gloriously for King and Country!!!
As an aside.....heard a couple of chaps referring to O'Briens regiment as "The Yorkies" but never got a chance to ask them where they got that particular nickname. Tried looking through my sources and googling online but no luck. Anybody got any ideas???
Cheers
Gerry
You may call it sarcasm........I, on the other hand, prefer to refer to it as a humorous observation!!!

I wear a tin flute to work Jim.
I am already tee-ing up the commands for October for you chaps. Players will in the main command national groups of regiments drawn from the following list:
Dutch
Danish
Protestant French
Protestant Irish
English
Scots
Catholic Irish
French
Lots of little by-ways to travel as well as the on table gaming. Shaping up nicely

I forgot about that but I can't be expected to remember everything and keep Hilton under control
The three units of dismounted dragoons performed well I thought.

That's why they fought well!
I thought the funniest part was Bob's dragoons fighting for the Jacobites giving his own Danish Guards a hard time. I'm now thinking that 4 squadrons of dismounted dragoons could spoil your day, especially if they have managed to ride up and taken cover behind a wall.
Cheers

I' m afraid to ask but in what national group will I be placed in?
„Macht Euch Euren Dregg alleene“
"Sort your filth out by yourself!" The King of Saxony Friedrich August III., at his abdication 1918, referred to the quarrels in the parliament and the squabbling within the provisional government.
