Neue Kampagne Zeitung - SYW like you've never had it !

I've posted in the 19th Century Archive - Warchest two issues of the occasional newsletter created by my very oldest and dearest wargaming chums Alasdair Jamison & David Shuttleworth. These are little comic gems and just make me wish I lived back down in Manchester and could game with them every week as I did between 1989 and 1994.
Both of these collector wargamers know their stuff and their extensive period knowledge seeps out between the snippets of comic opera...!

Hope you don't mind me posting this David & Alasdair but it's too good to keep to yourselves!!

Hi Barry,

Whatever you do, please get the first two issues and all subsequent ones up as soon as possible - they are tremendous!

In all the campaigns we have fought at the club over the years, the ones that had a newsletter with an ample opportunity for propaganda and scuttlebutt were certainly the ones that linger in the memory bank!

I've temporarily withdrawn the Neue Kampagne Zeitung editions until I get consent from Steve Ayers who is the editor. Hopefully, if Steve is ok with it then issues 1-4 can all go up !

I am delighted to say that Steve Ayers, wargamer and author of the extremely clever and witty Neue Kampagne Zeitung(SYW news sheet from his group's campaign) has given his permission for me to post the paper on this site. You can find it in Warchest/17TH-18TH Century Archive. I have all issues except 2 & 5 but have put in a request to my `source' for them.

I hope you enjoy these as much as I do!
