Wishing You a Bountiful Christmas and New Year

Post by quindia » Thu Dec 22, 2011 4:51 pm

That's what it says on the inside of the Christmas card we sent out this year...

Image

I wanted to share this with my friends here at the Fighting Talk Forum. I also wanted to show off a little - for those who don't know, my wife Sara is an artist too, and this is a photo I took of the painting she finished last week. It is an acrylic on canvas, 36x27", and will shortly hang in our dining room.

I want to thank everyone who supports this forum, our ongoing book publications, and Warfare Miniatures. Lots of new projects are in the works for 2012 and I am looking forward to sharing the details.

Merry Christmas to all of you and your families.

Let me echo Clarence's Seasonal best wishes to all the members and friends on these Boards.
It is amazing how many great friendships have been struck up through this meeting place over the last few years.

Sara's art is beautiful and I have had the privilige of seeing more of her paintings than most here.

From me then...

Thank you for ideas, debate, jokes and not least for your support in buying the hobby obsessions that turn into products from Clarence and I.. we have got LOADS coming in 2012. Now where is that cloning kit my wife bought me for Christmas?

Good tidings to one and all. I might even give the servants the day off.

I hope everyone on this excellent forum has a very merry and - above all - peaceful Christmas.

(I really like the fox and hare Sara - two of my favourite animals. And it would make a lovely English pub sign!)

Salutations!

Mery Christams and happy and healthy New Year 2012 to all of You and your Families. Peace on Earth is an Illusion in our times but it is none the less right to wish it.

Best wishes
