1670s Era Buildings

Post by Glorfindel » Sun Apr 14, 2013 4:52 pm

Hi chaps,

While waiting for the next installment of cash (to allow the purchase of more 1672 Frenchies), I was thinking of work on some linear terrain and buildings suitable for the French invasion of Holland.

Can anyone recommend a good web-based tutorial or suggest some ideas ?

I have previously had a go at making some 'Empire' style buildings suitable for the 10mm Warmaster game but would like to find some suitably Dutch inspiration. Previous examples of the Empire buildings

I've seen some of the commercial ranges (eg. Conflix / MBA), but would probably have to take out a second mortgage to buy enough !

Any help would be much appreciated.

Cheers,

Phil

Paul Darnell's Touching History is a good starting place.
With Gen'l Custer Down in Mexico: Yes, one of the goals is to see how many times one can get him killed.

Phil,

Try PMC Games, put 25mm buildings on ebay & they will be on there.
Ready painted, resin buildings for different periods.

Many of the buildings on LoA tables are from them.
