Elizabethan Ireland Project

Post by RogerC » Fri Oct 27, 2017 6:09 pm

I have decided to expand my Border Reivers into Ireland and add regular troops. Quick write up of the project and photos on the blog.

Lovely figures and some very impressive and atmospheric terrain. I'm looking forward to reading more on the blog.

Great reivers. I've been pondering an Irish 'transplantation' myself with the supplemented reivers facing up to a mixed force of Spanish regulars and local Irish.

Thanks for the support. Glorfindel I will add both books to my list for next month after payday. Currently working with the Ospreys for the basics but I also have Tyrones Rebellion to read.

Added a post with updates on the Claymore Castings figures that will make up some of my Irish and a couple of extra Reivers I just finished.

First of my Elizabethan Irish complete. Not sure about the Saffron colour, might need to go a bit darker. Few more shots on the blog.
