Katya never reached our coastline...

What can you expect from a Scot? When is the last time a natural disaster threatened the highlands? The Great Sheep Stamped McFinn of '02?

Sorry, I'm a bit punchy these days...

When they tried to bring Michael Jackson's 1997 world tour to Aberdeen.

Greg, sorry for missing your post
We haven't discussed taking the rules any further to the FPW but that doesn't mean that we won't. Once the Crimean and ACW supplements come out there should be all the detail in them for refighting the Risorimento of 1859 and the Garibaldi 1860 campaign. Making the extra additions to weapons ranges for the Schleswig Holstein, 1866 and FPW should be an easy adjustment that most gamers should be able to make for themselves but apart from that all command and control (MP's) is all there and changes to formations and morale will be in both supplements.
Hope this helps?
Dave

I don't suppose that one day we see some Warfare Miniatures done for the Crimean.

I thought I'll just throw that out there

Well Edward, that was a left fielder! WARFARE MINIATURES is currently taking its first steps. Not as tentative as I thought because sales and more importantly 2nd sales to first time customers have been very encouraging. Encouraging enough for me to commission the 2nd wave production moulds (yesterday). This means that we should have a quantity of new packs available for CRISIS ANTWERP 4TH NOVEMBER.

Where it all goes, nobody knows! I can tell you though that I took over half the photos necessary to populate the Crimean supplement in Nottingham at the weekend. Clarence and I will begin the editing, selection process very shortly. Possible that Four Empires will be out before Christmas.

Hi

Is it possible you could give us an update on how the Crimean supplement is progressing as we haven't heard anything for a little while.

Thanks

Steve

No problem Stevie and welcome to the boards!

Clarence and I were discussing it just yesterday. The chapters are all prepped bar one. A good selection of photos are taken. The cover art is progressing (one of Clarence's lovely paintings). I have been a little held up by building terrain for a R2E weekender(next weekend) and the launch of WARFARE MINIATURES but most of the big work is done on both projects. FOUR EMPIRES now becomes a priority again. I will be photographing my own revamped Crimean collection soon, running a 'sample battle' for inclusion in the book with Dave O'Brien and then we'll be there!

I know it may have appeared that we were doing nothing but stuff was and is still trickling through.

cheers

B

Hi
At present I do not own a copy of Return to Empire and will purchase one when the supplement is available but in advance of that can I ask if I need to use any particular basing while I am building up my forces.

All the best

Steve

Hi Barry

Really sorry to ask again as I realise you have been away and obviously Warfare Miniatures must be taking up a fair amount of your time but can you give us an update (if there is one) on the supplement.

Many thanks

Steve
