Any chance these will be published in the near future? I have a rough copy from Clarence and would love to see it completed. :D

The second edition of BLB and at least one scenario book are planned for this year. We might get on to VWQ next year (?). I guess I need to get busy writing since I'll be sharing author duties on that book.

Clarence,

You are not making my life any easier, are you? I need another period like I need an extra nose and my long-suffering better half will be really pleased.

The trouble is, if they are as good as BtLB and RtE, then it will be a compulsory purchase so, instead of adding a bibliography, could you instead list a selection of reputable divorce lawyers?

Jim

Thanks for your response Clarence. I already have units based on your current version. Are there any plans for a drastic change to the basing system?

God, no! That's how my units are based! There will be optional rules for fielding larger units (i.e. 4 stands), but three stand infantry will still be the norm.

The planned scenario book is for the Jacobite Wars but will encompass a slightly wider spectrum back to some of the rebellions between 1679 - 1719.
Initial scribbling is already underway.

Will that include the siege of the Bass Rock, britains longest siege? As discussed at the 1st wargames weekend.
I'll try and remember to bring the info across to the Falkirk show.

Cheers

Barry, have a look at this site, it will give you a very brief overview of the siege.

It should be pointed out that "Victory Without Quarter" now has its own Fighting Talk section:

viewforum.php?f=20

Furthermore, Clarence has now provided a link to download his VWQ rules in that section. I'm hoping that it copies here correctly -- but if not, it is available in the above Fighting Talk section:
