First game tonight. Romans v Pontic. Moved along at a fair lick. The guys really enjoyed it!! Excellent rules. Highly recommended. Fast, fun and frustrating!

How do they compare to Hail Caesar?

I 'm a big fan of hail Caesar. These are even faster, require even less markers etc and need more thought. Will be great for big and very big battles. We played. 3 a side tonight. Took a command each. Really good fun game with just the right amount of frustration. We liked the command and control and very fast melee.

Hi Jim

Seen these on a few sites & reviews seem good.

Once I've finished the silly season at work & am back down on a Tuesday night look forward to trying them.

Are there any special basing requirements or special unit sizes for these rules Jim?

not particularly Dave. We've been using our hail caesar armies with no change at all .
