Big Jim's Medieval Menagerie Four Player Game

Post by Atheling » Fri Feb 18, 2022 1:03 pm

One Sunday quite a few years ago I had the pleasure of playing in a giant Medieval game using WAB II. Although there certainly was no historical precedent for the battle, it was a warm up for Havok! at Gripping Beast HQ, it was tremendous fun and played in the gentlemanly fashion which is what we have been used to at Jim's for many a year. Jim's a great host and laughs a plenty abounded.

I've been out of wargaming for a few years due to illness, started back again in Late 2019, just in time for w worldwide pandemic!

Below you will find the pics of the game, which featured the Holy Roman Empire and Eastern Russian States battling against the Teutonic Order and the Hungarians!

New pictures rescued from Wayback Machine not ruined by Photobucket!

For more pictures of the action please feel free to hop over to my Just Add Water Blog- there are many more pictures, unfortunately the game was played in 2007 and I cannot remember what happened never mind the result! I expect I lost which is the usual result!
