OK, so after two years I've finally given in to having a section of the FORUM specifically set up to discuss painting techniques, display examples, show your latest projects and chat about this vital part of the hobby. Manufacturers please feel free to post up your sculpts, ask questions about what the gamers are after and generally promote your work.. no charge! Painters, please also feel free to post up your work for comment and critique. I can't promise the unreserved adulation characteristic of some other fora but I would hope you'd get constructive and measured comment!

Dave,
They are a mix, the chap on the felled horse is an old mini from Foundry (I've actually got a couple more and have conversion plans for them both0 whilst the rest belong to the Perry Miniatures Agincourt to Orleans range.
Hope that helps?
Darrell.

Oh! Blimey! I forgot all about that!
I'd love to come along- I'll consult with "she who doesn't always but mostly gets obeyed anyway" and see what's what.
Thanks for the reminder!!
Darrell.

And a few more too:
Great fun to put together and they added a great deal to the demo game.
Hope you enjoy them.
Darrell.

I fully agree that lumps of plastic or card detract from the game. You spend so long painting up your figures and terrain then put unsightly markers everywhere.
Really good markers you have there.

Yup, it sort of has to be done. Far better to have something attractive on the table top than 'orrible pieces of card.
Glad you like the vignettes

As usual Darrell brillant paint job,i agree ,adds colour and animation to a table top. Any chance of seeing any for the WSS!.
(The historical evidence that God comes from Lancashire is slim, however he's definitely not from Yorkshire)

Will look forward to what you do for WSS as Im just embarking on a project for that and will be making some markers. Just need to get BLB2 to see what types will be needed.
