OK, so after two years I've finally given in to having a section of the FORUM specifically set up to discuss painting techniques, display examples, show your latest projects and chat about this vital part of the hobby. Manufacturers please feel free to post up your sculpts, ask questions about what the gamers are after and generally promote your work.. no charge! Painters, please also feel free to post up your work for comment and critique. I can't promise the unreserved adulation characteristic of some other fora but I would hope you'd get constructive and measured comment!

Beautiful work. See, he's among the righteous, for he paints eyes on his men!
I've always enjoyed the Dutch and Hanoverian flags.
You always want to see the backs of your men. That way, you know they're advancing on the enemy!

Those look wonderful.
Seconded on the flags query, and, what did you make the little sprigs for the field signs out of?

Thanks for the kind comments. Flags are from maverick models printed on material, a bargain at £1.40 a flag. These have been touched up a bit with paint also. The fanions are front rank. Springs in the hats are cast on the figure in the generic WSS range.

I've been waiting for these, superb work, really do the FR figures justice.
I second the Mavric model flags, I've used them, all of them from the paper with self adhesive back to the cloth ones.

Very tasty brushwork Jez (no surprise there), but nice to see an example of the 'printed cloth' Maverick flags, as I'd been wondering about trying them.

Ray,
For these flags, they are from his list already. I did get a custom one done for Heidebrecht.
Unfortunately the English flags are lacking as I think he only wants to do stuff that is definately correct. For the French, there is an abudance !
