Just thought I would show you a few pics of a 10mm ECW army I am currently working on.
The first shot shows a Royalist artillery position. To emulate the wonderful pics in the BLB rulebooks, I've decided to add planking under the guns. This was simply thin card, cut to irregular sizes. As I glued this to the base before any sand was added, it almost looks as though it has real depth.
This next shot shows Newcastle's Whitecoats (which are clearly getting nice and grubby by this point) :
