Jacobites 1715

OK, so after two years I've finally given in to having a section of the FORUM specifically set up to discuss painting techniques, display examples, show your latest projects and chat about this vital part of the hobby. Manufacturers please feel free to post up your sculpts, ask questions about what the gamers are after and generally promote your work.. no charge! Painters, please also feel free to post up your work for comment and critique. I can't promise the unreserved adulation characteristic of some other fora but I would hope you'd get constructive and measured comment!

Have just finished my 28mm Riever Castings Scottish Jacobite Army, flags are from the Flag Dude. Enjoyed painting these very nice figures.

Most impresive that. I am doing this to but in 15mm and I have not painted that much I can tell you. They look really nice and now I got Inspired and will return to the painting table at once and start painting ;)

Nigel,
Flipping Fantastic!

Lovely paint job and you've made them come alive. James III would be proud of you!

Is it so obvious I'm a Jacobite?

That's usual for one's newly painted pride and joy,
but give them a few turn outs and see the damage they'll do when the get in amongst the Govt. tropps wi those lochaber axes and broadswords.

Nice paint job, well done. The muted colours are much more realsitic than highly coloured tartan paint 8)
