GNW for BLB in plastic

OK, so after two years I've finally given in to having a section of the FORUM specifically set up to discuss painting techniques, display examples, show your latest projects and chat about this vital part of the hobby. Manufacturers please feel free to post up your sculpts, ask questions about what the gamers are after and generally promote your work.. no charge! Painters, please also feel free to post up your work for comment and critique. I can't promise the unreserved adulation characteristic of some other fora but I would hope you'd get constructive and measured comment!

GNW for BLB in plastic

Post by Montecuccoli » Mon Sep 15, 2008 7:05 pm

My group has started to prepare Swedish and Russian Armies for GNW. For amny reasons we have decided to use plastic miniatures as Zvezda and Strelets (and some Orion) produce good quality miniatures, really not expensive.

Here are some first attempts:
Vasterbotten Rgt. (but flags are speculative...)

Uppland rgt.

We have started from the scratch but we count to have a quite large number of units in time to celebrate the third century of the Campaign...

If you are interested (and understand italian, sorry...) give a look to our blog:

I cannot see the images you uploaded here but the pictures on the blog are very good. Beautiful painting and nice grouping of the figures. I think they look splendid!!

Well done to you and your group!
