De La Melonierre at the Boyne

OK, so after two years I've finally given in to having a section of the FORUM specifically set up to discuss painting techniques, display examples, show your latest projects and chat about this vital part of the hobby. Manufacturers please feel free to post up your sculpts, ask questions about what the gamers are after and generally promote your work.. no charge! Painters, please also feel free to post up your work for comment and critique. I can't promise the unreserved adulation characteristic of some other fora but I would hope you'd get constructive and measured comment!

Again sheer brilliance from Clarence with the flags, really make these units stand out.

Next up the Danish regiment Prince Frederick.

Cheers

Seem's you like to have your boy's not only step on someone's dead body but to bath them in flowers too

Great work, Bob!

Excellent Bob! I was looking forward to seeing these and I've not been disappointed. That chap in the redcoat lying down next to the officer is very lazy isn't he?

My Brandenburg regiment is getting there, I was unwell for a few days and that's delayed things a bit, much to my annoyance.

It is turning into a fine brigade! You are also cracking them out at a fair old pace Bob. That is 6 battalions now right? and working on the seventh!

With Ade doing 8(I think), the 2 you have coming from Andy, Paul's plus some from DOB and probably 16-20 from me we should have at least 40-44 Warfare battalions on the table for October with the balance coming from my collection (other manufacturers). We'll need a total of 66 battalions of Foot plus about 10 regiments of dragoons. The Horse I still have to make an estimate on but around 50 squadrons. Artillery we'll have taped no problem.. and then of course there will be the extra fripperies!

I sent the table plans and notes to you and Ade today
