Clarence and I worked hard on producing some extra scenarios which should appear in various Wargames magazines over the coming months both in hard copy and online.
We used the same artwork, additional new photographs and Clarence's 3D map style which can be found in BLB.

Two have gone to editorial so far:

A bit on the side - which is a Flanders 1693 scenario
In the shadow of history - Newtownbutler 1689 (a piece of work which includes some new historical research undertaken by myself and of which I am rather proud!)

I expect to finish two more over the next two months. I hope you get a chance to see them! A picture from one of the the photo sessions can be found in the Gallery under 'In the field' :D

Barry,

Please keep us informed. The only British magazine that I get is BATTLEGAMES . . . but of course I can always pick up a single copy of one of the others IF I know you've got a BLB article in it.

Hi Barry,

Any chance of a couple of WSS scenarios involving the British please.
A friendly nudge nudge wink wink when and where these come out will be helpful.

Cheers  ...........Ray.

Will work on it Ray

WI247 Preshipped to subscribers yesterday I think...

An scenario article for 1694 Flanders written and illustrated in the BLB style. I must say I was a bit disappointed in the photos though as the ones I sent were top quality. The print run looks very insipid and a flick through the entire mag reveals all colour printing to be rather washed out looking and a bit of a disappointment :(

Just got WI247 and you're right, Barry, they washed out the photos. They also didn't bother to credit me for the map and they stretched our ad (look at the chap in the bottom right corner) and distorted it. I'm not sure why they did that since I followed their guidelines to the mm.

Oh, well.

It's been a while since I bought a copy of WI. When did they change the paper stock? I can't say that I like it. My copy is all "wavy"

Hey Clarence,

I only got a quick look at the mag on Thursday and put it in my briefcaseand forgot about it. Just looked this morning again. That is disappointing. I am a little surprised because Dan is usually very good.

I'll speak to him and he can make it up to us on the next one!!!

By the way,, love the new AVATAR!!
