Two of the lad's from our club have started on the terrain boards and myself and the other guys were impressed with what they had done after only one week.
Basically it's going to be a attack/defend game (Williamites doing the attacking with 18 units and the Jacobites doing the defending with 12 units).
The terrain boards will have a river running though the centre of the table with three crossings (a bridge on either flank and a shallow ford in the centre).The Williamites need to force and control two crossings at the end of the day.
The Battle will start with the Jacobites outnumbering the Williamites, but will be reinforced during the day and these will enter at one of two roads which lead to the bridges.
This could turn out to be a hard day for William, but should be interesting.
