Brigadiers and Pursuit

Cannot find if this has been asked before.

If I have multiple Squadrons in a post melee pursuit test and the Brigadier has been attached to one of them can they all still take a single test and include him even though he is only attached to one Squadron. Or must they take individual squadron tests?
