I have put together two forces for use in the Beneath the Lily Banners games at Historicon. As I am having to lug this stuff across the Atlantic I am not inclined to bring most of it back so will most likely try and flog it off at the show or just after.
It is not done to my usual standard but is I think quite passable. I expect the units to sell for about $70- $80US each.

I will of course take some photos before hand for interested parties.

There are:

A Huguenot Brigade of 3 battalions
A Danish Brigade of 3 battalions
An Irish Jacobite Brigade of 2 battalions (Guards and Antrims)
1 probably 2 x 2 stand units of grenadiers
2 x 2 squadron Jacobite Horse regiments (1 James's Lifeguards)

All based for BLB. Useful additions to any collection or player's who are building up forces for a big game.

Cheers

Are those French Battalions with the Jocobites mine? I'll need to remember to pack them if so, though they will have sad, printed flags...

Not following my blog, Jim?

Very well, here's a shot sans all of the ultra-cool loose terrain I'll be adding...

There is a very long series of posts on how I built all of it at http://www.quindiastudios.blogspot.com/

That is one beautifully constructed piece of terrain Clarence- the river is just how they should be- dark murky etc. I'm not a big fan of, "oh, it's water I'll paint it blue" so this is right up my street.

Looking forward to seeing the buildings 8) .

Darrell.

Clarence,

Actually I have been but there are some sites I can't get at work during my lunch hour. It's a bit like Barry's Bowdlerisation programme - totally random.

Looks great - I'm jealous.

Hi Clarence,

May I say, excellent terrain boards and I like that river, just like the real thing, in fact I could see myself doing a bit fly fishing for trout in there.

Best Wishes,

Ray.

Have been working hard on the 3 talks for Historicon:

10 Best British Battle to Wargame 1679-1692.
This will include:
1. Tangier
2. Bothwell Bridge
3. Sedgemoor
4. Killiecrankie
5. Dunkeld
6. Newtownbutler
7.The Boyne
8. Athlone
9. Aughrim
10. Quebec

5 Flanders Battles to wargame 1689-1698

1. Walcourt
2. Fleurus
3. Steinkirke
4. Neerwinden
5. Namur

The no win scenario - a rules writer's perspective

Hopefully someone will turn up :)

Barry, You gonna use BLB1 or 2 for Historicon? I wanna make sure I'm up on the right version.

Joe
