minimum army

Post by janbruinen » Fri May 27, 2011 9:40 pm

Although I like to have a big army, painting time is restricted.
So, what is the minimum amount of units (each side) to play a game with BLB?

thanks

Realistically, 6 units per side I would say Jan.

Hello Jan, nice to see you are also playing BLB at Aldegarde; we do the same but with 6mm at the Société de la Grande Armée!

Until then, label the bases and just play with them.

It won't be pretty, but you can get the battles in and begin learning the rules, with suitable inspiration to paint.
With Gen'l Custer Down in Mexico: Yes, one of the goals is to see how many times one can get him killed.

It will take me a while to get the models up and running. In the meantime there are some nice graphics at junior general:

and

Slightly better than just labelled bases
